Oh, where to begin, what I enjoy about this show is that it is surprisingly rich in history and its playful cameos/parodies are hilarious and almost grounding in a way. While it is plenty "over the top" it scratches that "what if" feeling and keeps you tied juuust enough to reality to keep you from rolling your eyes too much at some of the zany stuff that happens. Next, I'll note how real and alive the animation and voice acting makes the characters feel, I caught myself on more than one occasion wincing and peaking from one eye from how graphic some scenes are, to top it off it challenges the watchers view on respect and the ideals of personal freedom. It's action packed, it's ecchi, and jumbled full of life lessons, I laughed and I cried then I laughed some more after I cried again. Anyone going through a rough time in life would benefit from the many hidden gems this show has to offer and is another reason why I give it such high praise, it breaks the rating scale for me on multiple levels, do yourself a favor and watch this and tell me what you think!
